Portfolio Examples

  • Peter Pan Sudoku puzzles (for Disney Online)
Flash animated movie that contains 10 Sudoku games for a younger audience. Each game can be played using pictures or with standard sudoku numbering. The complexity builds as you progress. Initially the game begins with an elementary 4 x 4 sudoku grid, which progresses to an intemediate-level 6 X 6 grid by puzzle number 4. Puzzles 6 through 10 are standard 9 X 9 sudoku grids.
Warning: Don't get too hooked, because you will need a passcode (found on the Peter Pan Platinum Edition DVD) to continue past puzzle number 5.

  • A Good Year wine guide (for Fox International)
A collection of 188 wines, imported via XML, condensed to a limited list by selecting down on 3 main criteria: Region, Varietal and Vintage. This list had to be customizable for content and language.
The wine data was originally delivered to me in an Excel spreadsheet and ultimately had to be put into Fox's Microsite Builder 2 CMT so that regional editors with limited computer knowledge could customize the language and content for their individual regions.
The first step was to grasp the layout of the XML produced by Fox MB 2.0. Then I designed how I wanted to layout the XML data so that it would be a easy MB 2.0 tree-hierarchy for the content editors to customize. The raw Excel data was imported into a SQL Server database and then exported to text using a custom SQL query that I wrote with embedded literals for the XML tags. This data was then feed to MB 2.0 and voila! the XML tree was created for the content editors.

  • In the Land of Women (MySpace iframe hosted at Warner Bros.)
Targeted for the MySpace demographic, this page had to look and feel like a MySpace page with viral components, a video player, etc. A set amount of space was purchased from MySpace to host Warner Bros. iframe. We then developed the iframe page in-house (the entire look of the MySpace page can be found at http://www.myspace.com/itlow).
Most of the flash components on the page where developed in-house by me.

  • Kristen Stewart's MySpace page for In the Land of Women
A regular MySpace page that was re-skinned for the movie "In the Land of Women"

  • Dustin Milligan's MySpace page for In the Land of Women
A regular MySpace page that was re-skinned for the movie "In the Land of Women"
